During signup there is a "hostname" field. What do I put there?

In this field, you should enter the label or nickname for your server. Many users opt to specify the primary domain name which they will be using the service for. For example, "www.yourdomain.com" or "server.yourdomain.com". You can use something else that is identifiable to you, if you do not yet have a domain name to use with your new server.
